Mallignant ischemic stroke: clinical and biochemical features of diagnosis

چکیده
Ischemic stroke (IS) remains the most common neurological pathology [1,2] and can manifest itself in form of malignant ischemic (MIS), leading not only to severe disability patient, but life-threatening conditions [3,4]. Malignant is one formidable manifestations stroke, threatening working population likelihood death without appointment timely therapy. Diagnosis:“Malignant stroke” occur no earlier than 12-24 hours, during which time irreversible changes brain may occur, accompanied by its pronounced edema, with threat subsequent herniation, therefore, adequate therapy necessary as soon possible [5,6] . Taking into account peculiarities course disease, there a need search for predictors MIS. In order predict consequences, above literature review, we consider modern approaches diagnosing stroke. The analysis data allows us determine some clinical laboratory development methods assessing severity Various possibilities using studied markers purpose practical use early diagnosis MIS are considered. Based on data, diagnostics were analyzed prescribe before onset brain.

Vitamin D and Ischemic Stroke
Introduction: stroke is the most important brain disease. Stroke leads to a reduction in bone density, altered calcium homeostasis, and an increase in hip fractures. Some recent studies show effects of vitamin D on stroke and vice versa. The purpose of this study was to determine of serum vitamin D levels in patients with acute stroke. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, we compared t...
متن کاملPredictive value of clinical and EEG features in the diagnosis of stroke and hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy in neonates with seizures.
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE In neonates, the differentiation of stroke and hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) is important. Neuroimaging presents technical challenges in unstable neonates, resulting in frequently delayed or missed diagnosis of stroke. Differentiating clinical and electroencephalographic (EEG) features would assist physicians in the timely diagnosis. We sought to determine, in neo...
متن کاملBiochemical and clinical features of hereditary hyperprolinemia
There are two classifications of hereditary hyperprolinemia: type I (HPI) and type II (HPII). Each type is caused by an autosomal recessive inborn error of the proline metabolic pathway. HPI is caused by an abnormality in the proline-oxidizing enzyme (POX). HPII is caused by a deficiency of Δ-1-pyrroline-5-carboxylate (P5C) dehydrogenase (P5CDh). The clinical features of HPI are unclear. Nephro...
